My heart aches for the victims
Of the devastation of Odette,
And terrible floods of Klang Valley
That Mother Nature is angry.
There's not much to do but pray
I'm so far away, how to help?
A prayer, a message of hope
And some monetary aid.
Flood water everywhere
Cities turned to muddy rivers,
People crying, some dying
Drowned, others electrocuted.
What a way to exit the world
Scary just thinking about it,
As visuals of stranded people
Haunt me for the rest of my life.
