The mysteries of life
Where every day is unpredictable;
There are days filled with happiness and laughter
Other times, somehow full of strive.
Searching for its deeper meaning irresistible
And what about the hereafter?

Often wondering what's factual, or is it fictional?
When you try to wake from a nightmare
Or pray that the good times last forever;
When you discover love is conditional
And that life is actually never really fair
Throw your hands up and exclaim, "Ahhhh, whatever!"

This path however rocky you have to take
Have faith that you won't ever get lost,
That someone comes to lead the way;
The most out of your day you can only make;
Hope losses don't add up to a high cost
And success comes without further delay.
