Adonis

Adonis

To you, it was all a game,
Living on the fast lane,
Too quick even for yourself.
Life is empty now with wealth,
For it can’t render you aid,
Since you’re dead.

You were the modern Adonis,
Find delight in girls on their knees,
Pleading to be in your good books,
Just because of your great looks,
But you thought yourself wise,
And disregarded our advice,

In me, you could confide,
The night before you died.
A fine friend we’ve now lost,
Your lifestyle was the cause.
Even so, we shan’t be sad,
As an exhilarating life you’ve had.
