Adguard Software Limited, a Russia-based company, as the name suggests offers various services regarding Ad and tracker-blocking, but also a VPN with both free and paid plans. Following the first post on this blog, I tested the free plan in categories as stated below:
- IP Leak: No ✅
- DNS Leak: No ✅ DNS Servers locations are same as IP Address location.
- IPv6: Supported ✅
- Speed: Medium (free plan) ⚠
- Locations: USA, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Finland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine
- Protocols: TCP, supports QUIC (Experimental)
- Configs: No ❌
- Auto Reconnect/Kill-switch: Yes ✅ Split Tunneling and Custom DNS server are supported as well.
- Limitations: 3 GB/month Traffic, Limited number of servers, Throttled connection speed
- Platforms: Windows, Android, iOS, Mac, Browser Extension
Accessing the free plan requires creating a free account, either in-app or on the website.
