Every signed blockchain transaction needs to be verified by a computer connected to it which we call Miner. Each Miner will be rewarded on his effort which includes time and energy to run the computer hardware and solve complex equations. We call this concept Proof Of Work.

About 210,000 blocks are mined every 4 Years and the incentive is divided on 2. From 11 May 2020 The reward will be 6.25 BTC per block which we call Halving Date.
