Ate fufu today. Spent my day indoors today too. Went to buy waakye in the morning. That cost about 1$. Might not be much where you are, but takes awhile to make 1$ in Ghana.

Prepared fufu in the afternoon. We made this one from cassava and cocoyam. You peel them, put them in water and let it boil. When it becomes soft, you pour the water away, put them in a mortar and pound them with a pestle.

We used firewood for the fire today instead of charcoal. We cut a tree sometime back so we have dry wood. We were done by 3pm and that’s when I ate. Didn’t eat again after that as it was enough. Spent the rest of the day back indoors and did nothing interesting.
