Why blockchain is disrupting the game industry:
Hey guys I hope all of You are doing well.
Many of us may be aware of crypto currencies and blockchain
But recently we have seen innovations that go beyond digital currencies and blockchain.
We have seen the concept of NFT’s, the rise of virtual reality games like decentraland where users can build properties and even rent them out, smart contracts, DEFI, the list goes on etc.
But today I have good news for people who love sports.
Have you ever thought that you could monetise your sports knowledge?
Did you ever wish that one day you could buy your favourite sports player and make money from their real life performance ?
Well guess what, this is now possible?
I would like to introduce to you all a platform called TradeStars
What is TradeStars:
TradeStars is a virtual fantasy stock trading platform enabling people to buy stocks of sports athletes.
Creating an account is free but one must fund their account to purchase these player stocks (just like you would in a traditional stock market).
Currently the game is in beta mode. However, they have an option to sign up for early access.
In addition to this, the game only offers cricket and soccer but they are working on adding more sports.
The game can be played on any device provided it has internet access and in the near future an app will be deployed.
I would recommend that You guys read their FAQs https://tradestars.app/faq#what-is-tradestars as this will answer a lot of questions.
Final words:
I’m pretty thrilled as to where blockchain technology is heading. It is my understanding that advances in this space will be creating a lot of earning opportunities for people like You and me.
In the past and in fact not even 5 or 6 years ago. I would have anticipated that I could monetise my sports knowledge or buy player stocks, but today it doesn't seem to be a far fetched idea.
I believe ideas like this will be commonplace in the future again we cannot predict the future but one thing is certain, Blockchain technology certainly seems to be evolving.
