Challenge to Read More Blockchain Related Whitepapers (pilot episode)

By AX17 | figurehowtowrite | 6 Nov 2022

The first WP I ever read was of course, the Bitcoin white paper and until today it is, for me at least, the best piece of writing I ever came across. It is brilliantly written, no question about it.

And I have majored in American and English Literature, with specialisation in Translation Studies (some while ago, as clearly seen from my rusty language skills).

So why a challenge to read as many WhitePapers as possible?

I plan to make white papers my new bedtime reading, because it might help with:

- improving my poor language skills

- enrich vocabulary

- learning about possibly interesting new projects

- staying up to date with what is going on in the technology fields

Although I had my inbox full of online training that I used to do in 2009, about blockchain at that time, I had no idea about the Bitcoin and to my shame, like many, got involved way too late. But, I am still learning a lot. My passion for the blockchain technology started just because I had a passion for working and learning with databases, sql, simple things that somehow made sense in my dreamy mind. And also I needed them in my corporate work, so learning is what we all must too, we like it or not.

So, it was by mere mistake that I started to learn blockchain and am, still just beginner level.

I am starting this challenge today 4th November to read as much as I can find white papers, the one I currently read will be revealed in my next episode where I hope to bring forward also a short summary and what I learnt from it. I hope to make it, one white paper per week, so will post here results every Friday.

Also, as a day trader I find reading WPs as being a necessity, because is necessary reading the project's whitepaper before deciding to invest/trade on any coin. But until now, I would just briefly go read them to just make a general idea, now I hope to make much more in depth analysis and will present each in an weekly episode.

I strongly recommend using the Binance Academy to anyone willing to find out about White Papers in general, they just had an education posted there 31.October.2022 and is so well written that it will inspire you, like it did me to read such literature. I am also including litepapers on my reading list, as they are softer versions of a WP. So for my research purposes LPs are also good source of information.

See you on my next episode with an in depth analysis and results of my reading.
