The first time I ever heard the song "No Place Like The Right Time" I was in a car on the Autobahn in Germany on music tour in 2016. It was on my Spotify weekly playlist. It was love at first sight! Was it the lovely acoustic guitar tone that starts the recording off? Is it the singer's voice? Is it the the profound feeling that is invoked by the phrase "There's No Place Like The Right Time"? I'm not sure. Perhaps we are never exactly sure what it is that attracts us to a great song, but this song has it. 

I have to admit I didn't give the rest of the album much of a chance until recently. The whole album is GREAT! I'm not crazy about the cover "Man Of Constant Sorrow", but I respect the fact the band probably did this BEFORE the "O Brother Where Art Thou" movie came out, when every musician in the world started playing the song "Man Of Constant Sorrow". It's a tough song to cover well, in my opinion. I certainly don't try it anymore as I feel like my version sucks. 

The second track "Movin' On" starts out with this nasty electric guitar riffage, then it goes into this Celtic fiddling mixed in with some wah guitar. Who does that? And this album is from the year 2000! Wow! It's like Reggae meets country meets rock and roll. 

Of Course "Positive Friction" is another "banger" as the kids are saying these days.
