As I sit and ponder,
The worlds mysteries and meaning,
The how, the why and the I wonder,
The seeking and the seeing.
When I talk to God,
When I thank him for all I've got,
Sometimes I feel like a fraud,
I have doubting thoughts.
Even though I believe,
I fear being deceived,
That doubt plants a seed,
And it spreads like a weed.
But my faith in God is strong,
And I know right from wrong,
I know he protects his faithful,
And I am immensely grateful.
I hope I can be wise enough,
To see through any misdeeds,
And to be rough and tough,
Not afraid to bleed.
