The coin your friend shilled in a Telegram group, the one with the cartoon frog and zero utility…. was quietly rugged three weeks ago and nobody even made a meme about it. That's how you know it's bad.

Pump.fun is still doing numbers but honestly it feels more like a slot machine at this point than an actual market. You spin, you lose, you spin again. And the narratives? Gone. There's no new meta. Dogs had their moment. Frogs had theirs. AI were a thing for like six weeks. Even the ironic "worthless" coins are getting old lmao.

Here's the thing though and this is where I hate myself for saying it, memecoins dont die. They change.

Every cycle people panic. Every cycle liquidity dries up, the degens rotate out, the influencers go quiet. And then Bitcoin rips, alt season whispers start, and suddenly some cat wearing a hat is doing a 10x in 12 hours and everyones back like nothing happened.

We never learn tbh.

So are memecoins dying? Nah. Are they in a coma right now? Absolutely. Is this a good time to go all in on the next one? certainly not.

Will you anyway? ...Yeah probably.
