Every December reminds us
that everything is circumstantial and ends
on the same day without even giving
a moon less
or a sun more. But we also remember
that no end escapes the
eternal return of the beginnings
and that an inevitable and luminous
January will always be waiting for us
lurking in a violent sweet yellow
around the corner
of any time.
