Today I will be indestructible.
Maybe I died yesterday under the shadow
maquimal of a tree Maybe I have died
I've lost my memory for so long
event. It is probably a fact that
tomorrow dawn defeated among the
cold winter geraniums.
But today I am indestructible.
My breath sets in motion the cranes of the
shipyards. If I blink I can put one
orange in the hand of each child
beggar. In a couple of five-year periods nobody
will know who I was or what the happy birds of
my dreams.
I cross the street on my way to school.
We will read haiku by Basho.
We will write. Yesterday and tomorrow they beat me.
But today I am infinite. water plum
Indestructible. Immense.
