Many believe that we are in a super stockmarket bubble because of how "overvalued" many technology companies such as ABNB or TSLA are and announcing that we are close to another crash as in 2001.
I think this is totally different and that we are on the verge of a golden decade. Unlike the crash of 2001, current interest rates are on the ground, there are excess dollars and many technology companies are making profits such as Apple, Google or Microsoft. Vaccines are already being used and in the coming months the worst hit sector such as tourism will start to grow again.
What people don't realize is that technology is advancing so far that only the sky is the limit. The proof is the pandemic. In another era, economies would have been literally destroyed by a pandemic like this, imagine if it happened in 1989 or 1999? There was no mass internet, there were no smartphones, there was almost no teleworking. The technology sector is going to increase global wealth and is not only related to computer science, but also robotics, AI, genetics, healthcare, etc.
Nothing bad is going to happen as long as fed rates are low and hedges continue to inflate their own bubble. Of course, if the dollar ceases to be the gold standard of the moment, I want to see how the fed handles all that Easing.
Because let's remember that capital is fearful. You only need one to freak out for everyone to freak out.
So let's stay optimistic.
