@cryptobrewmaster recently introduced some new nano resource packs, available for 0.49 HBDs.
The pack guarantees you at least 4 good ingredients, and 1 excellent ingredient, and you get all the 5 different ingredients necessary to brew one beer, but do the maths stack up?
My first nano resource pack yielded me the following resources:

And with those resources I have a 67% chance of brewing an outstanding beer, a 25% chance of brewing an excellent beer and a 4% chance of brewing a masterpiece, and a similar chance of brewing a duff beer which are nearly worthless.

First time round I managed to successfully brew an excellent beer, and here's how the maths work out for the costings (At current prices, all of which can change of course!)
- Cost of package = $0.47 ($0.49 HBD valued slightly under $1)
- Excellent Beer Brewed with ingredients sold for 39 CBM
- Current market rate CBM = $0.008
- Dollar value of sale = $0.32 (39* 0.008)
- Loss = $0.15.
And this is my being lucky, having brewed an excellent beer. On average I will earn less for the more typical outstanding beer I will brew 67% of the time.
So at the moment then, it seems that just buying CBM tokens would be a more cost efficient way of, well, accumulating CBM!
However I don't know what tweaks @rollie1212 is going to make to the game in the coming weeks and months - already buying a nano resource pack unlocks a higher tier pack, which will no doubt be better value, and I assume that will be some of kind of rewards forthcoming with the various league tables, which include number of beers brewed and sold, and the only way you can brew beer is to play.
Also I like to give some financial support to such a great project which links virtual beer to a real world beer brew, it's the combination of the two that I really like about this game!
So get your brew on!
If you haven't signed up to play CryptoBrewMaster yet, I'd appreciate it if you used my referral link here!
