faucet creation and earnings

Have you ever wondered how a faucet makes money, earns enough to stay afloat, or simply how much they earn?

Well, lucky you, this is all about it, and why you should get in on it.

Faucet Creation: Faucet-in-a-Box

To create a faucet, you have several options, but I'll focus on Faucet-in-a-Box.

Faucet-in-a-Box is an open-source code project designed to make the creation of cryptocurrency faucets straightforward and hassle-free. It offers a comprehensive solution with ready-to-use scripts and configurations, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced developers.

1. Step: Free Hosting Websites

There are many free hosting services for websites such as ProFreeHost, InfinityFree, Hostinger, and each has its flaws.

For my example, I used ProFreeHost, a great tool for accessing and managing your site and used by many others.

On these sites, you create an account to which your website will be tied. Then, you set up a new website by choosing a name for your site or purchasing a website name to use for your faucet. Once done, you'll gain access to your panel where you can access different topics like webmail, error logs, database, and the all-important file directory.

2. Step: Setting Up Your Faucet

Now that you have your website, access the file directory and prepare to paste your Faucet-in-a-Box files. In the file directory, you'll find your site as a file. There may also be another folder; for example, with ProFreeHost, there's an .htaccess folder. Open this folder before pasting. If there's no folder, continue with pasting.

After pasting, return to your cPanel and access the database. Here, you can store values like users' emails/coin addresses, logs, and more. Name and create your database.

Once you've created a database, you'll need to connect it to your faucet. Go back to the file directory and access config.php. Replace the "dbhost" with your database hostname, "dbuser" with your database username, "dbname" with your database name, and "dbpass" with your database password, which you can find in the cPanel.

Ensure all files are uploaded properly; otherwise, it won't work. If something isn't working, try re-uploading the files.

You can now search for your website name on Google, and it should show up.

3. Step: Finalize and Shortlinks

Upon opening your website, you'll see a password displayed. Copy this code, write it down, and proceed. You'll be sent to a login page where this password is used. If you forget the password, it can be reset using your database password.

Once logged in, you'll see various option tabs. We'll focus on the main three: Basic, Captcha, and Shortlinks, also known as the admin panel.

In the Basic menu, you can choose the coin you want to distribute, the amount, and the waiting time for users.

Under Captcha, you have a choice of three captcha methods. Choose the one you prefer, sign up, add your site to their service, and copy the two API codes into the respective places on your site.

On the Shortlinks page, you'll learn how the faucet generates income. By setting up a shortlink, you direct users to a service site where they view and click on ads. This pays you per user. Some sites have a one IP policy, while others, like clks.pro (my personal favorite), pay up to 10 times per IP.

To use this service, sign up and go to the side menu. There's a panel called "Tools." Press it to access the developer's API, which you can then copy and paste into your shortlink.

You're almost ready to launch. The final step is to sign up or log in to your FaucetPay account, access the dashboard, and then the faucet dashboard. Here, you can link your site with a name, faucet address, and simply copy the API to your faucet.

Advertising and Earnings

To monetize your faucet, I'd recommend getting your faucet listed on the faucet list tab on FaucetPay. To do this, you'll need to pay out $10 worth of coins to users and have at least 50 users cash out from your faucet. You can achieve this by advertising on FaucetPay, sending coins manually to people, and when you're done, go to your faucet dashboard, manage, then under listing, apply to be listed.

After being listed, you'll earn a steady passive income, which initially may be around $0.5 per day, adding up to $15.5 every week in passive income.

You can join the millions of other faucet owners like SmallBTCFaucet, RS Faucet, and many more.
