Prospectors update - 

If you read my last post as of (01/07/2020), you would have read that I had discovered this neat game called Prospectors. It is a very interesting game still in early works for mining crypto (EOS). It took me approximately two days, to earn enough gold in the game to get far enough, to buy a gold pan and pickaxe to start digging up gold. I have found about ten unclaimed gold mines and I am doing delivery jobs, to earn enough for all of my workers (3... in case you are reading this post and are new to prospectors.) to own a pickaxe and gold pan for each of the workers. When you acquire the pickaxe and gold pan you can then start doing mining jobs to earn gold at higher rates.

I found that if you can get a used pickaxe with about 30 or 40 hours per tool, that you can make a bigger profit off of the jobs that you complete in-game. For example, I just started a job making roughly 450 gold per hour. Comparing to completing delivery jobs, making roughly 120-240 gold and taking a time of up to 5 or six hours to complete that delivery job. Talk about a change in pace for the real-time strategy game. It should take roughly a little over 12 to earn enough gold back to pay for the tools that I had purchased. And by the time the tools are broken, I should have earned more than enough to buy two brand new versions of the pickaxe and gold pan, which will equal several thousand gold for life of the tools. 

The gold pan had 35 hours left at 35%. The Pickaxe had a little over 44 hours. When each tool is brand new they have 100 hours of use.

I paid about 3500 gold per tool and will make around 15,000 gold from just one worker with used tools. All I needed was a gold pan and pickaxe to start making about 5x the daily amount of gold that I was previously making in-game. At this rate, I can use the current tools that I have to start making enough to buy an unused set of tools for two of my workers, rather than having just one worker completing gold mining jobs. Once I have that going I will make roughly 10,800 gold per 12 hours of completing these types of mining jobs. 10,800 gold = 10.8 PGL = .096824 EOS - per/12hrs.

I have a plan for the 3rd worker who is going to be consistently harvesting wood, stone, coal, and clay to sell to plots in need of the resources. Right now 1 kilo of wood sells for 11 to the person who is currently paying the highest price for wood. You can acquire 6 kilos of wood per hour which equals 66 gold an hour. Which comparing to the delivery jobs equals a little bit more gold or close to the same amount per day than if I were to only to do the jobs that require no tools.

I cannot wait to rent my own plot. The one I have been scouting is about 350,000 gold to rent the plot. When you rent a plot you only have a certain amount of time that you will have to utilize the resources on that plot. So, when it comes to the time when I finally get to where I have rented one, the best thing that I can really do is, rent one with a good amount of resources to then start pumping out tools, that I can then sell. Most tools on the market are not cheap. But, when I get there I will sell them for a competitive rate. That way they will always be selling with a good return rate per tool that I had created.
