The album "Abbey Road", although it was not the last release of The Beatles ("Let It Be" was released in 1970), it was the last album that the Beatles recorded together as a band. An excellent, timeless work was created, which still arouses the admiration of the listeners.
On the 50th anniversary of the release, "Abbey Road" reissues were released with material remixed by Giles Martin in stereo, high-res stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos. The music gained dynamics and transparency, the lowest bass and percussion sounds were highlighted.
Strong rock opening was the composition "Come Together" with John Lennon in the lead role. The lyrical ballad "Something" (according to Frank Sinatra, the best love song ever written) shows how talented the composer George Harrison was. In "Oh! Darling" Paul McCartney resurrects the sound of the 1950s
The most important composition on the album is "I Want You (She’s So Heavy)" with a thrilling guitar riff, which perfectly fits into the then emerging hard rock. On the second page of the album there is a sixteen-minute bunch of short songs, which is symbolically crowned with the song "The End".
It is also worth mentioning the canonical cover of the Beatles album, passing in the lanes in front of the studio on Abbey Road - this place has become the object of tourists' pilgrimages.
