Bitcoin is definitely still in the news, and is attracting the interest of more and more people, from hedge funds to investment banks, and now mayors, like the one in Miami.
"If I had done it last year, I would have made 200% and passed for a genius," Suarez said. As Cryptonews.com had reported, the mayor of Miami had been considering investing in the first of the cryptomoney stores for several weeks.
Definitely open to exploring it.

"We are studying the possibility of diversifying our investment portfolio by having and keeping a percentage of our investments in Bitcoin," the mayor told FOX Business in an interview last Thursday."
The Miami mayor said he wants to make Miami one of the most advanced cities in the field of cryptography.
"We're looking at Wyoming, Wisconsin and New York's laws, their regulatory framework, we're very interested in the technology right now," he said. We are evaluating many avenues such as the possibility of making payments with cryptography, specifically with Bitcoin, and the possibility of paying taxes, royalties and other fees with this cryptography."
Is this the beginning of a love affair between the mayors of American cities and cryptography? The future will tell us ...
