I’ve been creating original cartoons for a while now, but I’ve noticed that the time I spent away from drawing left me feeling quite rusty. My hands also lost some of their sensitivity due to the heavy physical labor involved in my construction job; whenever I try to draw, I constantly snap the lead in my mechanical pencil.
So, I’d like to share some fan art with you.
These are drawings of famous, well-established characters, created by looking at reference images on my phone screen. Back then, I used to enter contests in a Facebook group called "Desenhar é Viver" (Drawing is Living), which offered art supplies as prizes. I never actually won a contest, but that group helped a lot of people improve their drawing skills.
This drawing depicts that famous Pokémon scene where Charmander waits in the storm for the owner who had abandoned him—I, like more than half the planet, was obsessed with Pokémon. When I got back into drawing in 2020 (amidst a cycle of starting and stopping), there was a fan art contest, and this drawing was the result; I was really happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for following along; I hope you earn lots of tips here.
