(Note: This is my first post on the site and the first post in my series, Diamonds in The Rough. In this series I hope to shed light on a bunch of cool games that have sadly been overlooked or lost to time.)
Worlds is interesting: a Stealth Action game that wears it's inspirations on it's sleeve, those being MGS and Madness, it feels exactly like a 6th gen release. In it you play as Reyk, a kind of inter-dimensional peacekeeper who is sent to various different worlds in order to fix some problem the local populace has.

The games visuals, while not being too impressive, don't detract from the game's setting whatsoever. Despite the combination of low-poly and low-res textures the game can bolster some genuinely impressive visuals. The general atmosphere is very impressive, locations you visit feel like actual places, and the people you meet feel complex enough that they aren't just cardboard cutouts, even when they are.

When you first arrive in a new area it is up to you to find out where to go and what to do, usually this is done by talking to the locals. The first mission in the game requires you to find an assassin somewhere in the town, with the only lead being that hes probably been in town for awhile. With that it is up to you to investigate and find him. There is no quest marker and some things are left a big vague.
Generally however it plays like MGS3. You have basic stealth game snaking, the ability to make noises to distract guards, and a slightly clunky inventory system. Combat itself feels alright, with nothing being too stiff.

With the game costing $9.99 I'd say this game is definitely worth full price.
