What is Solana?
Solana is an open source project implementing a new, high-performance, permissionless blockchain. Solana is also the name of a company headquartered in San Francisco that maintains the open source project.
Solana is something I stumbled upon through binance just a few days before they went live... So I spend a couple of days doing research and paying close attention and purchased a few of their (SOL)coins just as they went live onb .. Within less than 24 hours SOL increased by over 400% from $0.69 to $1.21. and the days that have followed it has gone down a little and back up and down a little as would be expected. Currently valued at, $0.66 due to an extreme sell-off over the last week because of the 400% increase on day one.....
