Just curious…what brought you to Publish0x?

Last year, my new year resolution was to monetise my writing. To this end, I maintained a blog and successfully got it approved by Google Adsense. However, to my dismay, I realised that I had to accumulate $150 before I could qualify for a cashout. That seemed to me a Herculean task.

But it was a good thing that I started my personal blog because the then-social media manager of Hodlnaut saw it and sent me an email. He asked me if I would like to be an affiliate for Hodlnaut. I knew nothing about crypto then, so I did some research on him. Turned out that he maintained a Medium blog as well as a Publish0x blog. My eyes widened in delight when I noticed that I could earn some crypto by tipping authors! 

AMPL and FARM were the tokens offered as payment then. It wasn’t long before I realised that I had better become an author if I wanted to garner more tips quickly. So, despite my ignorance in regards to crypto, I shamelessly applied to be an author with Publish0x. Posted my first article - and the rest is history!

Through this, I learnt important lessons. Although I still have a long way to go before acquiring enough money for a payout with Google Adsense, putting myself out there got me noticed. In life, we just have to take the first step because doors will open as we gingerly walk down the path. It’s the Law of Attraction. I wanted to monetise my writing - and the Universe reciprocated by leading me to Publish0x.
