I’m sure many of us have been asked to be the emcee for an important school event and/or train students for similar hosting duties. With the frenetic pace of rehearsals, you may sometimes neglect to tell your students to give emphasis to a particular syllable or word. Or you may find it a Herculean task for certain words to roll off your tongue when you are under the spotlight and dealing with an adrenaline rush. (I’m a bit concerned with the word ‘valedictory’ for this event.)
