I sauntered / ambled to the Integrated Farming System. I was astonished / surprised to find my students already waiting for me.

“Let’s harvest the vegetables,” I instructed. My eager / enthusiastic beavers got down to work promptly / without delay, save for the ex-Monitor, who conveniently acted as the bouncer of the fenced area.
It took some time for my students to find their rhythm, but we eventually finished harvesting all the vegetables. My heart swelled / filled with pride and delight.
I was gratified / heartened that Yishun Primary School was doing its best / utmost to inculcate / instil in its students the value of sustainable food production from a young age.
