As teachers, you are pressed for time. Lesson planning is the last thing on your mind because you are swarmed with responsibilities.
Yet, you don't want to shortchange your students. They may find the words in the workbook too difficult. Or you want to give them some additional exposure to pertinent vocabulary words.
Diffit is a great resource generator for teachers. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use it.
1. Click on "Teachers Start Here".
2. Click on "Any Text or Excerpt" and paste the text in the workbook. The following text was taken from "Paintbrushes" by Annabelle on page 35 of the Student Workbook.
Choose "Keep Original" if you want students to engage with the original text.
3. Click on "Generate Resources".
4. Click on "Get Student Activities".
5. Click on "Printable Doc". When you sign up, you will have one month to make use of its Premium features.
6. Open the Google Doc when it has been generated.
7. Print out the printable document. It has definitions & example sentences, reading summary, MCQs, short answer questions and open ended questions. You can just edit as you see fit and print it out for your students!
