What are your working hours like?
I typically work from 7.30am to 5pm. Sometimes it can stretch until 6pm. Thus, it makes me green with envy when I read that people in Nordic countries typically work until 4pm. There is an entrenched tradition in which these people set aside dedicated time to pick up their kids and have dinner from 4.20-7pm. Geez.

That’s why I count my blessings that I was able to escape from work around 4.30pm today. Picked up my son to run various errands, including picking up his new pair of glasses as well as buying my sustenance (beer)! All in all, it took me 1.5 hours to finish all my errands. I am oddly happy that I “stole” the time to settle my nagging life matters.
