Dear Parents,

I have scrutinised the PSLE papers and observed that the -ous suffix is sometimes tested. (Please refer to attached poster.)

As such, I grounded this week's spelling on words that have the -ous suffix. I hope that your child/ward will remember that -ous carries the "full of" meaning and leverage it to internalise the meaning of difficult words.

I seek your support in reviewing these words with your child/ward so that they will become embedded in his/her long-term memory.
