- Identified a key challenge faced by every student and implemented an intervention to help them overcome it. Documented this challenge and intervention on the Staff-Pupil Interaction (SPI) portal to provide other teachers with a better understanding of students in my class.
- Informed the Form Teachers about my intervention plans for their students to keep them updated on their English learning progress and enable them to provide additional support, if necessary.
- Personalized coaching continues, with me helping students to stretch their competencies (e.g., participating in an essay-writing competition) or improve upon their weaknesses (e.g., speaking aloud in front of others).
- Utilised authentic opportunities to develop students’ speaking skills. Prepared three students to create a video describing their positive experiences with Simpler. Encouraged five students to share a book review in front of the whole school.

Process: Created many opportunities for students to hone their public speaking skills, including book reviews + Chill & Read sessions, ExcelFest video presentation, & Service Learning presentation to Boon Keng MRT staff. Impact: They gradually adopted the traits of effective public speaking.
- Process: Emceed Awards Day and mentored 2 students as co-hosts. Impact: Colleagues appreciated how I brought a warm touch with anecdotes that celebrated staff achievements.

Kept parents informed about their children's small successes in school to foster closer parent-teacher bonds. Similarly, reached out to external stakeholders, such as DAS teachers, so that students could receive targeted support.

Process: Wrote books depicting their significant experiences, such as GRIT camp, and displayed them around the classroom to foster a sense of pride and achievement.
Impact: Students felt seen and heard. They also felt empowered to contribute to the class by posting them on the walls.
- Introduced useful tools like BookCreator and SmartCompose to streamline work processes and inject a sense of fun.
