When you do good things, you carve a name for yourself. So my colleague who is into making videos for the whole school approached me to ask if I would be interested to appear on the school's TikTok channel.
After thinking about it for a bit, I thought, why not, right? Maybe the video would lead me to bigger things.

So, the first video will take on a mysterious feel as it will showcase me in a few prime locations in school. But my face won't be revealed. Ohhh, sounds interesting. Anyway, this is my proposed plan for this introductory video.
Name: Handsome Heng (because this is really what I call myself whenever I want to teach students about adjectives)
Why am I so shameless to call myself Handsome Heng? Because Handsome Heng is an example of alliteration since both words begin with the same consonant sound. Also, it's quite entertaining to watch students roll their eyes.
Preferred locations in school:
1) canteen - I think this is where I spend a significant amount of time in school. Also a place of choice since we just changed the tables and benches. Perhaps the video can comprise shots of my back hunched over a book and digging into my lunch. It will be authentic because I rather like to eat alone (and gather strength for the next group of rowdy students).
2) Love of Literacy room - Initially conceptualised as a space to facilitate differentiated instruction, this room has cafeteria-style seats that kinda looks out of place in a school. Which is why having the video shot there would elicit "Wows" from the people watching. I quite like the cushioned seats there- that's why I have my work review session with my Reporting Officer. Of course, since this video will feature only yours truly, I guess I could fiddle with some manipulatives for English teaching - letters of the alphabet, prefix/suffix flash cards, etc.
Thanks for reading my plan, guys, and for your tips.
