As an ENFP, my mind just doesn’t stop racing through the murky web of words to locate patterns.

Have been trying to get my son to remember the spelling of livid because it’s an easy word to memorise, yet sounds impressive when seen on a composition. Sensei loves reaping huge dividends like this.

Today, being the consummate professional, I was helping a student organise the phrases that she should use for her essays. (Actually, I was trying to declutter my digital chaos.) Saw that she had used pallid.

What a serendipity for these 2 feeling words to be so close in spelling. I wonder if they are related etymologically. And why does pallid sound suspiciously similar to Padlet? Are my ears playing tricks on me?
