Dear Ms Wong
Last year, the Science Department collaborated with the Science Centre to guide all Primary Five students to complete the "I'm a Young Water Ambassador" SLS learning package. Students were happy to receive a badge as an affirmation of their efforts. Upon witnessing the growth of our students, we have decided not to rest on our laurels -- but instead, extend this learning opportunity to all our Primary One to Six students.
In order to enrich our students' learning experience, we intend to partner parents so that they could guide their children/wards to complete the SLS package. As such, we have drafted a letter and intend to send it out to all parents via Parents' Gateway. We hope that you could take some time out to read and approve the letter.
In addition, we have decided to name our booth "Science Booster".
Science Booster (15 characters)
Reason: Children are familiar with the word “boost” because they should be aware of the fruit juice stall called “Boost” at Northpoint Mall. Moreover, “boost” is an easy word for them to pronounce – I have made my son learn the spelling, in fact. Lastly, “boost” carries positive connotations because it means “to strengthen one’s learning”.
We hope that you will approve of our name as well.
