Everyone Knows Brave, But Do You Know FireFaucet?

I will always have a soft spot for Brave Browser because it kickstarted my journey with crypto. I can still remember the exhilaration I felt when I managed to convert my 16 BAT tokens to ETH so as to facilitate my opening of an account with Hodlnaut.

However, sentimental feelings aside, I got to face reality. Which is how the gush of BAT tokens has trickled down to a drizzle and even to a stop, if I am somehow unlucky enough to use my laptop during the periods when ads were non-existent. I got to search for other paying sources of income.

This stark realisation eventually led me to FireFaucet. To be honest, I would not have bothered to try it, if it weren’t for the fact that Cointiply disabled some of my features, leading me to cast aside my reservations and just give it a go. After all, isn’t every faucet a near carbon copy of each other? Do surveys. Check. Watch PTC ads. Check. Activate faucet. Check. Try to get referees. Check.

Little did I expect that FireFaucet would turn out to be refreshingly different from Cointiply. I just needed to spend some time to watch PTC ads and get some ACP (Auto Claim Points) initially. Once I got a pool of ACPs, that was when the fun started for me.

Because I could just click on ‘Start Auto Faucet’ and let it run in the background! Every minute, the system would automatically churn out about 3500 Satoshis, which would be added to my Dogecoin account! (There are another 11 cryptocurrencies to choose with, burn im going ahead with Dogecoin because it yields an eye-popping 3.74% on Gemini Earn.)

I am aware that it would probably take ages for me to accumulate enough Satsoshis to hit the minimum withdrawal limit of USD$4. But for something that requires minimal effort, I must say FireFaucet has become a lovely substitute for Brave browser in my heart.

Once you get started, you won’t run out of ACPs. For one, you can click on ‘Daily Bonus’ every day to claim your daily dose of ACPs. For another, every activity you carry out on FireFaucet will yield you one activity point. Once you get enough activity points, you will get to level up, which will help you secure ACPs in the form of reward points.

As you can see, what you need is just time because I have gathered enough points for at least 11 hours of engagement with ‘Start Daily Faucet’. As crypto-driven as I am though, I don’t think I will spend 11 hours on my laptop. What I hope to do now is to get 1000 ACPs so that I can convert them directly to Dogecoin in one go. This automatic transfer will yield me 5% less than if I were to use ‘Start Daily Faucet’ for 11 hours. But hey, convenience has its price!
