Last time, while savouring the story “Ants in a Hurry”, our Primary 1 pupils picked up pertinent facts about ants.
To augument their learning, the Science department designed a SLS package for your pupils. Although this package was designed in-house, completing it would qualify your student for a physical Young Entomologist badge. He or she could pin it on his or her T-shirt and bask in the satisfaction of a job well done.
This lesson is valid until 1st December 2026. Up to now, 29 pupils from various classes have completed it. They are:
We have ordered 70 physical badges, so 41 badges are up for grabs. Hence, we request that you:
- encourage your pupils to attempt the following SLS lesson. (Do let me know if you or your pupils have trouble locating it. I can reassign it, no problem)
- help us distribute the physical badges to the abovementioned students in Term 3 Week 10 (so that their classmates will be motivated to complete it during the September holidays or PSLE marking exercise).
Your little effort on your part will bring some cheer into the lives of your pupils. Case in point: TANAKA KAISHI wore his two badges prominently on his recent visit to the zoo.
