2017 N(T): Travelling
2) Tell me about any interesting places you have visited, either locally or overseas.
To be honest, I am not the kind of person who is interested in my own backyard as my mind is preoccupied with thoughts of travelling abroad. Nonetheless, it's good that I sometimes veer off the beaten path and explore obscure places because that's a great way to break the monotony of everyday life.

Recently, I visited Long Kuan Hung Crocodile Farm. It was surreal to observe how this one and only crocodile farm managed to house thousands of crocodiles in land-scarce Singapore. I have tremendous respect for the manager who imparted many interesting facts within his 1.5 hour guided tour. It was jam-packed with memorable experiences, including touching a four-day-old hatchling, witnessing a hatchling emerge from its egg, and even savouring crocodile delicacies. The highlight was the feeding session, without a doubt. By the end of the tour, I gained a deeper appreciation of crocodiles' usefulness as well as the important role they play in our food scene. I think I would like to visit this crocodile farm again in a few years' time.
