Salvation Army Will Take Crypto for the Holidays

By georgia86 | DeFi Off-Ethereum Guides | 17 Dec 2020

There's no place like the Bitcoin network for the holidays.

The Salvation Army, the charity of bell-ringers and kettle clanging changers is now excepting Bitcoin and Ethereum for donations.

They say they will need 155% the normal help for the destitute this year.

But with social distancing, their normal busking on street corners hasn't been enough. So they've decided to take the interent, and now are accepting crypto donations.

They normally help 23 million Americans a year.

Though they believe in prayer and are a Christian charity, this is a huge move to have such a large charity taking Bitcoin. They can capitalize on recent gains.
