Sensing the pulse of the future, Square Enix is delving into the world of blockchain technology, and what they've conjured up is a groundbreaking fusion of this tech with gaming. Say hello to Symbiogenesis a virtual universe boasting a staggering array of 10,000 collectible characters, each sporting unique races and professions that will have interesting utilities. Think: turbo-charged EXP boosts and the option to use your collected NFTs as your PFP (Profile Picture).

CHARACTER TYPES

*Facet Character: This is a character that will be useful to obtain certain hints for quests.

*Mesh Character: This is the average type of any other single game, gives out information related to the situation of those with the same occupation.
They possess item-collecting abilities and characters, may occasionally obtain multiple quest items at once.

*Line Character: This character holds information that only their holder may read about the current situation of those with the same occupation.

*Point Character: A character of great importance within the main story. They have information that only their holder may read about the current situation of those with the same occupation.

RACES 

Regarding the races, Symbiogenesis has only revealed the followings, but they'll release more in the next chapters:

Normies

A species that has strong reproductive ability, and has developed well enough to create communities in various parts of the Floating Continent. They have the largest population among all species.

They try to avoid conflict, and desire to live peacefully on the Floating Continent.

Spikes

With their characteristic horns, Spikes are a race with strong and resistant bodies.

Although very agressive, they have maintained good relations with the people of the Land of Salvation

Merchants

Merchants live by transporting and trading goods around the Floating Continent.

As they travel, they may have information about other regions.

Guards

A species with high combat power that has part of their body mechanized. As they do not have a country of their own, the make a living as bodyguards or informants.

When hired by other races as bodyguards, they might protect them during their travels from thieves and monsters. Those who manage to serve a country may be highly valued as soldiers or knights.
