While all three fall under Malware, they behave and spread in completely different ways:
🧬 Computer Virus: Attaches itself to a clean program and requires human action (like opening a file) to spread.
🪱 Network Worm: Self-replicating code that travels across networks independently without needing a host file or human trigger.
🐴 Trojan Horse: Disguised as legitimate, useful software to trick users into installing it, often opening a backdoor for attackers.
Key Rule: Viruses need hosts, worms travel alone, and Trojans wear disguises!
Strong endpoint detection, network segmentation, and user awareness are critical to stop these threats.
