🌐 Layers 5, 6 & 7: Session, Presentation & Application Layers (OSI Model)

How do user applications, data encryption, and active sessions work at the top of the OSI model? Through the final three layers.
Here are the key points:

🔹 1. Layer 5 - Session Layer
Establishes, maintains, and terminates communication "sessions" between devices (e.g., managing your active login session on a banking app).
🔹 2. Layer 6 - Presentation Layer
Acts as a translator and security guard. It handles Encryption/Decryption, Data Compression, and formatting so different systems can understand each other.
🔹 3. Layer 7 - Application Layer
The topmost layer where users directly interact with software and apps (like web browsers or email clients).
Key Protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, and SMTP.

🚀 Together, these three layers take raw data from the network and transform it into the interactive apps and websites you see on your screen!
👇 Which of these top three layers do you think works the hardest when you browse a secure website? Let me know!
