The small country of New Zealand is showing great privacy leadership by releasing a tool to help businesses determine if a cybersecurity incident is considered a Data Breach. 

The national Privacy Commissioner has released the NotifyUs tool which allows businesses to go to the website and answer questions regarding their data loss issues.  After a few simple answers, the tool provides clear results on what is required by the company. 

Simply brilliant!  This level of clarity is greatly needed.  The web-based tools can be accessed by anyone and people are free to try it out.
