Cryptopunk #7,804 sold for $16.4 million on Ethereum, making it the second highest priced non-fungible token sale in the Cryptopunk series.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Cryptopunk #7,804 changed hands for 4,850 ethereum (ETH), equivalent to $16,382,444. This transaction marked it as the second-highest non-fungible token (NFT) sale. This surpassed Cryptopunk transaction #3,100, which was achieved 16 days earlier at a price of 4,500 ETH or $16,010,724. The record for the most expensive Cryptopunk purchase still belongs to Cryptopunk #5,822, priced at $23.22 million or 8,000 ether two years earlier. This week, Cryptopunk #7,804 took the lead as the most valuable NFT sale and positioned the Cryptopunk series ninth in the weekly sales ranking.
