Blackrock CEO Larry Fink expressed his strong belief in Bitcoin's long-term potential and highlighted the success of Ishares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) as the fastest-growing ETF in history.

The CEO of Blackrock, the world's largest asset manager, Larry Fink, said that he is "extremely bullish on the long-term viability of Bitcoin." Noting that he was "very surprised" by the demand for Blackrock's spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), he emphasized that the Ishares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is the "fastest growing ETF in ETF history." Fink confirms:
I'm very optimistic about Bitcoin's long-term viability. "We're now creating a market that has more liquidity, more transparency, and I was very surprised and I never would have predicted before we filed that we would see this type of retail demand," he explained.
Ishares Bitcoin Trust has raked in huge inflows since its debut. His bitcoin holdings as of March 27 stood at 250,667.23810 BTC with a notional value of more than $17.2 billion.
IBIT is the fastest growing ETF in ETF history. No one has acquired assets as quickly as IBIT in ETF history.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved 11 spot bitcoin ETFs, as to whether there will be a spot ethereum (ETH) ETF, a Blackrock executive said: “We'll see.
It's in the process of registration." Commenting on the SEC potentially classifying ether as a security, Fink opined: "I don't think that designation would be too detrimental to ETFs." When asked whether an ETF could be launched even if ether were classified as a security, Fink responded: "I think yes ." Blackrock currently has an application pending at the SEC for a spot ether ETF. Fink has been a vocal supporter of bitcoin.
