The City of SHA
A preliminary note on the research of a Bitcoin backed eco city.
CryptoXoide researched the City of SHA, a place in a reality parallel to this, and saw the improvements in many people.
I consider that humans are about to experience a similar kind of evolution in many places of Earth as well.
The City of SHA is a clear example of how a disciplined approach to a healthy generation of wealth can bring benefits for humans on the individual and communitary level. Once a typical megacity with high skyscrapers and lots of industrial and commercial infrastructure located on the southeast of the Makanya continent, the city can now be compared to a Decentralized Techno-Agrarian Extension of Clusters, a work that took 20 years to achieve and that allowed SHA to thrive in situations of extreme weather conditions.
SHA is, admittedly, close to a megacity turned into an eco-energetic centre, where scientists, engineers and technologists sustain the innovative methods of production of energy, the networks and infrastructure of the digital realm and where there is the central node of the Ultranet (an internet 99,9% fast as the speeed of light, created by Brunella Cataldi and Valentina Suarez that works by transfering bits and bytes by using neutrinos, one of the most abundant particles in the known universe).
The fast internet connections, the transition to faster, cheaper and better eco-sustainable methods of production of energy and the transformation from centralized corporations to communitary and home grown production of foods & goods (a wise decision given the intense heatwaves that the planet experienced during the last 15 years), including the use of technology and nature as medicine allow the inhabitants of SHA to have more time for themselves, a better personal development, better mental and physical health and specially, better opportunities for talent & personal growth.
The process of sat stacking as a community came thirty five years ago, when scientists warned of high activity in their two suns as a high probability for the next 30 to 40 years. Bitcoin has been proven since 1971 to be an amazing hedge against inflation and with decades it became the most widespread and valuable asset worldwide. SHA citizens were not going to be left behind. They were planning to use Bitcoin as a tool for rapid improvement of society to face the heatwaves and their effects on the ecosystem.
Everyone was encouraged to stack sats for the future, and many populations who lacked traditional money, although sceptical at first, decided to stack sats. During the first five years, SHA citizens stacked with the intention of hodling, and it was expected that the communitary governments implemented Bitcoin as a legal tender to allow the flourishing of wealth and provide a safety net against the foreseen changes that the heatwaves would generate on the hemisphere. That happened in 1983.
In just ten years there were improvements in the quality of life of citizens who stacked sats. Those who were homeless and suffered from mental health issues due to such circumstances, were quickly able to reintegrate to communities and achieved housing and a better quality of life in many areas. The newfound wealth allowed them to live better, and unconditional housing for those on extreme conditions of homelessness was considered a basic human right. The savings made by the city and their inhabitants due to having Bitcoin in their portfolios allowed them to experience an increase in the level quality of life for everyone, basically. The decentralization of the houses and the programmed demolition of buildings and traditional infrastructure allowed the city to expand in eco-friendly ways, leading the technologists to innovate new ways of transportation for long distances.

Due to the intesity of the heatwaves, the citizens of SHA decided to change the way of distributing water for all. Instead of depending on centralized distribution systems, each household and community had air generators of water, which allowed the rivers and streams to serve as power generators, thus allowing the waters to flow at their maximum potential so they don't dry on the peak heatwaves.
It is widely known that SHA and the whole east continent of Makanya had less decrease in the size and flow of their rivers than the regions who kept the traditional extractional and waste systems. They set an example of thriving in extreme conditions, achieving good quality of life and also at the same time allowing nature to thrive at its best.
The quick development of technology on an exponential scale allowed the old big mining farms of the past to turn into carbon free eco friendly servers the size of a football, an improvement that allowed the Bitcoin network to work uninterruptedly during the heatwaves and always at full potential.
The power of Bitcoin allowed people to be able to monetize their talents and abilities, donate resources to other communities and populations in distress, flourishing as a world economy amidst the intense weather chaos. Their access to fresh food everyday allowed them to increase their intellectual, technical and artistical abilities, and their technological and natural expertise allowed them to guide other regions and continents into survival and thriving during the moments of extreme duress.
It is ironic how although Bitcoin was widely adopted on the world since the seventies, other populations took many years and decades to really maximize the technologies available to them. But on a historic context, it is easy to understand, with newfound wealth, many new generations and even older generations decided to enjoy life on a long duration summer vacation, without fully adressing the concerns that the experts warned them about.
The citizens of SHA made a difference, and went on the path of full preservation of each human alive + preservation of the ecosystem.
Nowadays, the heatwaves receeded, the temperatures are back to normal, but the newfound ways of health and wealth seem to stay. I can't imagine a city full of happy, wealthy and talented people going back to skyscrapers and not able to enjoy the sun and the rain.
