Discussions are ongoing regarding seasonal quorum requirements and the remuneration rate for contributors, as the value of BANK has significantly decreased.

One of the major updates is the introduction of tlBANK, a time-locking mechanism where contributors stake BANK and receive an NFT as proof. This initiative aims to promote long-term value alignment and sustainability within the DAO. The Grants Committee will clarify funding requirements and consider the impact of grants on organizational units. There will also be discussions about BANK emissions and financial sustainability.

Several projects, such as BanklessWallet, Layer 2 Review newsletter, and a Spanish-language subDAO, are expected to drive attention and revenue in Season 8. Additionally, various BanklessDAO media and educational projects have received retroactive public goods funding from Optimism.
