Did you suffer from FOMO this year and how will you not fall prey to it next year?

2022 is drawing to an end, and it’s time to exorcise those FOMO demons! Even though you might have planned your DCA In DCA Out strategy, sticking to the plan may be a path fraught with complications, especially when the sub seems to come alive, buzzing with chatter about the in-thing to undertake. In fact, just before Vitalik Buterin sent out his tweet demonstrating his support for SOL, the Daily was replete with talk about shorting SOL.

It’s hard not to feel the green-eyed monster lurking about, especially since we readily admit that we are in crypto for the gains, not for the tech. Seeing how other people make profits fast and furious makes it hard for us to stay true to ourselves and stick to the plan.

Was there any trigger that stimulated FOMO within you? For me, I used to feel envious when it came to Moons Payout Day because despite my best shitposting efforts, I didn’t get as many moons as the established contributors here. I actually felt discouraged, feeling embarrassed by my mediocre attempts to post and comment. It was only when I got to know several people here better on a personal basis that I gradually let go of my inhibitions and just say whatever came to my mind, downvotes be darned. It was when I enjoyed the process of chatting with others that I let go of the need to compare my moons to that of the top posters. And how do you aim not to be triggered by such FOMO in 2023?
