In every decision we make, we must be aware that there is a risk involved, whether it is low or high. After all, life is made of choices and along with them the consequences of choosing one path over another. In Web3 Games, as they usually involve tokens and NFTs, which are sometimes necessary, there is a risk regarding the volatility of the value, so it is important to be very careful and research the projects well.
I was recently looking for information about a project called Sunflower Lands - a web3 farming game - and I came across content about NFTs from this game that help the user's progress. Since the game has been running for a few years and has an economy that has survived the recent bearmarkets, I decided to understand more deeply whether or not it would be worth it for me to have these NFTs, since I liked the game, found the gameplay simple and had a very participatory community, willing to help and who really like the game a lot.
I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
[ENGLISH VERSION]
What is the Strategy for NFTs in Sunflower Lands?
Sunflower Lands is a game that I've heard about for a while now, and one of its most notable features is the strong implementation of an NFT system that gives bonuses to the production of your Land within the game. This is one of the fundamental points for web3 games, because it gives the player ownership of the items, taking control away from the companies.
Interested in this aspect of the game, I looked for some content about the best NFTs for beginners in Sunflower Lands and among them I ended up finding some NFTs that were repeated in several videos and also recommended by several players who have these NFTs. The main ones that I realized would be interesting for my Land were: Lunar Calendar, Observatory, Maneki Neko and Chicory. It is worth mentioning that many people talked about Nancy or Scarecrow as well, but I already had Nancy, which gives a 15% reduction in time, and Scarecrow was quite expensive at $60.
These NFTs have functions that will help in the game's progression, and together with Skills and other NFTs, they end up having an even greater impact. The Lunar Calendar gives a 10% reduction in Crops time, which together with Nancy, means that the time for my crops to be ready will be reduced by 25%.
The Maneki Neko gives free food every day, increasing my XP or serving as NPC deliveries, along with the Observatory that increases all XP gains by 5%, it ends up buffing the XP from the Maneki Neko's food. Also, together with the skill that increases 5%, it means that all XP is being buffed by 10%.
Chicory and in the future Desert Rose, give a 10% chance of getting an extra flower, so with both I will have 20%, but the game allows you to craft a free NFT that guarantees 10%, so in total it will be 3x 10% of getting a flower, so it may happen that 3 or 4 flowers come at once. These flowers can be sold in a limited way in a marketplace tab and used to improve the NPCs' bar.
Risk of NFTs in Sunflower Lands
I like to try to find certain asymmetries and understand a cost-benefit point that will help me progress and, after reaching an interesting point, evolve within the game. In the case of these NFTs, due to their high supply, they end up having a lower price than other NFTs with similar effects but low supply. However, as the game recently had a large influx of players, the price of all NFTs ended up rising significantly, causing me to buy close to the high. Furthermore, the token recently changed to FLOWER and was listed on an exchange, causing its price to rise.
Considering the current scenario of Sunflower Lands, it may be a very risky time to have these NFTs, but since the project has been around for a considerable amount of time and appears to have a team focused on developing the game, I decided to take the risk. However, I looked for Skills and synergy between the NFTs to maximize their effects and improve their returns. Still, I wasn't in a hurry, I placed purchase orders at prices lower than they were being sold, which gives me a margin.
Now the goal is to continue evolving and at the same time reducing the risk of values, making withdrawals of a portion of the Flowers that are obtained through the game. This is because as the token may end up falling if I fail to withdraw something now I may end up in a very negative position, but I can't stop evolving since it is a game that is constantly updated.
