[ENGLISH VERSION]
ROM Golden Age Classes
In ROM: Golden Age, there isn't a wide variety of classes. The game is basically composed of three main class trees: Knight, Archer, and Mage. Each of these classes will have an evolution at level 70, with two paths to choose from. In some, like the mage class, the differences between the paths are quite large, but in others, the options are quite similar, like the archer. To progress quickly in the game, it's ideal to be in a party with all classes to get the most out of it.
The class most players tend to choose to start with, due to the ease of the mechanics, is the archer. Interestingly, the archer and mage classes are the two most played on the server where the game originated, while the warrior is the least chosen class. The reason may be the issue of attack range, which helps with long-range attacks with the archer, slightly less so with the mage, and much less so with the warrior, leaving them more vulnerable.
Golden Age ROM - Knight
The first class we'll cover in more detail is the Knight. This is the game's melee class, with two possible options to choose from upon reaching level 70. The first is the more DPS-heavy version of the class known as Berserker, while the Defender is the tankier option, designed to be the frontline of the group. Although it's not one of the most popular classes among players due to its short range, it's essential to have at least one Tank in your party when farming, and even more so in your Guild, to be able to go into PVP and defeat big bosses.
The downside of this class, which makes it one of the last options when choosing a class to play, is that the character ends up wasting time that would otherwise be attacking the mob by walking to reach it. Furthermore, in PVP, they end up being attacked from afar, and in battles, they end up taking the most damage because they're closer to their opponents.
For Knight players, the most important stat to choose in their items, codex, etc., is STR, because it grants melee damage to the character. A second option for those looking to be more defensive is CON, which grants more HP, HP Recovery, HP Potion Recovery, and Melee/Ranged Defense, being the most important stat for a Tank.
Golden Age ROM - Archer
The Archer is the most popular class in the game due to its long range, a common occurrence in Wemade's MMORPGs. It's useful in PVP because it can attack from a distance, and also in PVE because it doesn't move as much to hit the next target. This is perhaps the best class for PVE because of its range.
The Archer class options at level 70 will be to choose between Hunter, which deals ranged damage with a crossbow, or Scout, which would be the equivalent of an Assassin, using daggers to attack and debuffs, such as poison.
DEX is the main stat that all Archers should pay attention to, as it increases ranged attack, increases hit at long range, and helps with melee evasion and ranged evasion.
ROM Golden Age - Mage/Healer
Mages are one of the most versatile classes in ROM Golden Age because at level 70, they have two very different paths. You can choose to become a Wizard, becoming a glass-cannon, with high damage and some area-of-effect skills, but these only come after level 70 and can be expensive. Alternatively, you can choose the Priest path, which will buff and heal your party, but the difference is that it can also deal damage. This is a highly sought-after class for PVP, in Guilds, and also in high-level PVE combat, against bosses, for example.
For this class, the idea is to focus on INT because it increases magic attack, magic hit, magic bonuses, and magic skill bonuses. This attribute, unlike the others, is entirely focused on dealing raw damage. Another stat that may be interesting is WIS, which helps with MP recovery and provides some magic defense.
Interestingly, WIS is a stat that can benefit all classes, as it improves mana point recovery and helps with magic defense and magic evasion. But it's not a priority, except for mages who need mana regeneration.
