Shop Changes - Monster Plate & Guardian Potion
The first change in this update occurred in the in-game shop, specifically in the monster plates. Previously, with 6,000 crystals, players could purchase all available monster plates, paying 200 crystals for each and having to wait for the weekly reset to get more. Now, with this update, the plates reset mid-week, allowing more plates to be obtained, but this may have been due to the event. The important thing is that there is no longer a limit of 5 cards per card. The Golden Age ROM team implemented levels, with level 1 remaining the same, but now you have 5 cards at level 2 and 5 at level 3. However, you end up needing more crystals, which may not be worth the high cost, which goes from 200 to 3000 per monster card.
It's worth remembering that monster cards are a great way to increase your Power, and the best part is that you gain status with the game's own resources, which in this case are crystals, which you can get from maps and special dungeons. In addition to the status from the monster plate itself, they also have a codex with a quantity bonus, so the more you get from different monsters, the more you gain.
Another change was regarding the potion that restores guardian health. Previously, it could only be purchased with diamonds (10 each) and can now be purchased with 3,000 crystals. This allows players to send their guardians on adventures without having to spend diamonds to restore them.
Rapid Growth Event
In the most recent Golden Age ROM Q&A post, the developers provided some context as to why these growth events are becoming increasingly frequent. The reason is that players are feeling like their progression is starting to slow down, so the developers decided to add more rapid growth events by distributing items to help players progress.
The latest event to arrive is the Hyper Speed Growth Support Mail Event, which will distribute a wide variety of items throughout the day during specific time slots. You'll need to be logged in to receive them via in-game mail. The first item will include 100 Solaris, Aerial, and Tempest fragments, followed by some chests with requested equipment. The third will focus on Eryndor with essence and chests, and finally, some costume, guardian, and monster plate summons.
