Along with this, we had the announcement of a major balance change in Ragmons, which will certainly change the game's NFT meta. In addition, we have confirmation that daily missions will continue even during the pre-season, so we will explore this content as well. Come and find out what the objective of this balance change is, what we will have in this pre-season 4 and the main changes in Ragmons.

I'll be much appreaciated if you UpvoteReblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀

[ENGLISH VERSION]

Ragmon Balance - What is the Goal?

Web3 games from time to time seek to bring major changes to the attributes of their NFTs, so that the meta is altered and there is a change in the standard teams, causing the marketplace to be sought to make the changes and get the new “meta” team. This is a very interesting strategy, especially when the Rupi Buyback revenue depends on market rates, and also to prevent the game from becoming boring and repetitive.

Thus, along with a change in player strategy with changes to decks and strategies, another goal is to give more value to the most “special” Ragmons of the rarities: Epic, Legendary and Mythic. In the developers’ view, they required a large amount of mana to be summoned and were not always worth it, because they were not strong enough, especially at level 1. With this in mind, they sought to give a big buff at level 1 and reduce the growth percentage of these ragmons for the other levels. This focus on higher rarities and the meta change is clear with some small buffs and big nerfs to common and rare ragmons.

Ragmon Pre-Season 4 - Ragmon Daily Mission Continues!

With the end of Ragmon Season 3, we enter the Pre-Season 4 period, which will last approximately two weeks. During this period, players will go 14 days without receiving Boss Invasion rewards and without PVP Ranking rewards. This is a period in which players will test the changes that the Balance Change brought to the game's meta and to do so they will have to test new strategies and card combinations, and then adjust their decks and strategies, exchanging cards in the marketplace and preparing for the new season by refining their new team.

However, one reward continued for players even during this pre-season period, which is Ragmon's Daily Mission. In it, players receive eRupi rewards for completing certain requirements. Among them, winning 5 ranked matches with Level 5 Ragmons.

  • 100 eRupi for LV 5 Common Ragmon
  • 200 eRupi for LV 5 Rare Ragmon
  • 300 eRupi for LV 5 Epic Ragmon
  • 500 eRupi for LV 5 Lengendary Ragmon
  • 900 eRupi for LV 5 Common Ragmon

Currently, 1 eRupi is exchanged for 1 Rupi on the Ragmon website and can be converted into other tokens on Katana, Ronin's main DEX. At the current conversion rates, 3679 RUPI is equivalent to $1 USDC. Therefore, the player who has at least one of their Ragmons at LVL 5 in all rarities already receives 2000 RUPI per day when completing the 5 daily victories.

Ragmon Balance - Common, Rare

For Common and Rare Ragmons, the Growth issue was not changed, maintaining the 10% Growth, which means that they tend to get stronger as the player evolves them. In the balance, the biggest changes related to nerfs were: Poring, which received a big nerf in its Speed and attack speed, making it currently the NFT Floor of the collection. The rest of the common and rare ragmons that had changes were a buff focused on damage in the vast majority.

Ragmon Balance - Epic, Legendary and Mythic

In the case of the Epic, Legendary and Mythic rarity ragmons, they had what can be called a nerf in their Growth Rate to 8.8%, 7.7% and 6.6%, respectively. However, they received a massive stat boost at level 1, causing this nerf to be mitigated. Now, as for the stat changes, all Epic ragmons received a buff to their HP and some form of damage. The same happened with legendary ragmons, which received a buff to their HP and damage, with the exception of Zherthsh, which had a nef to its attack range and the effect of its Lick HP Effect skill.

Now the biggest buffs were probably to mythical ragmons, because they had big changes to their HP and skills, I think they must have become quite strong. What may show this is that on the day of the update, the average sales price jumped to 6.52 RON, while on the other days it had been 1.5 RON.
