Magnus Granath, a Norwegian bitcoiner who goes by the alias Hodlonaut, defeated Australian businessman Craig Wright in court. Wright has been claiming since 2016 that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the man who invented Bitcoin. The trial's focus was on finding if Hodlonaut's tweets from 2019 were protected by Norwegian rules on freedom of expression, not on figuring out who is behind Satoshi Nakamoto's alias.

The judge had to decide if it was likely Wright was speaking the truth about developing Bitcoin. As a result, after considering the circumstances, the Norwegian judge came to the conclusion that "Wright is unlikely to be Satoshi Nakamoto," according to the court's official record. According to the transcript, the court stated in this regard that Hodlonaut "had adequate factual grounds to allege in March 2019 that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto."

Hodlonaut established the hashtag #CraigWrightIsAFraud and called Wright a liar in posts that were later removed. However, the businessman then came to his defense and complained to the law about being slandered.
